    • Trivia
This was Lucille Ball's way of repaying Benny for his appearance on "The Lucy Show" on September 28, 1964. "Lucy and the Plumber" (S3;E2) featured Benny as a plumber named Harry Tuttle, who also happened to be a Jack Benny doppelganger.
    • Goofs
When Lucy 'reels in' Benny on the rope, outside the open door the floor has been taped for the set placement.

    Lucy and Paul Revere's Ride
"The first lady of television" Lucille Ball arrives for a guest starring role in tramp's clothing, but dons a gown upon discovering Jack Benny in tails. After receiving compliments on her business expertise, Lucy explains to Jack (and the audience) that women have been more successful in the past than given credit for, since men write the history books. The comedy legends then flashback to 1775, with Lucy (as Rachel) proving to be the driving force behind husband Jack (as Paul Revere) and his famous ride. This was an exchange of guest appearances for Lucy and Jack. Their "skits" were not as good as the comedies based on their well known comedy personas, with "Lucy Gets Jack Benny's Account" (1967) offering the two at their best.

***** The Lucille Ball Show (10/2/64) Norman Abbott ~ Jack Benny, Lucille Ball, Don Wilson, Arte Johnson
