(6) I promise I'll get back to some Night Camps tomorrow..just too many other goodies turning up on these ancient spools, like audio from Jack Paar's late night programs. Sometimes we kept short bits, recorded on the remaining portion of a tape, sometimes we kept an hour or more..like this one from November 24, 1961. Close to 62 minutes here with guests Tony Martin (and his son, who's referred to but not heard), Dennis Day, singer Kaye Stevens (she's loud!), Bob Newhart, Liberace, a tribute to Stan Laurel, reference to recent fires in Los Angeles (nothing new under the sun, is there) and spending the last few minutes with a new Chamberlin music machine.
