It is during this broadcast that Ida Gutterman on November 16 1950 filed suit claiming $50,000 from Phil Harris, and others on the ground she was "frightened, injured and shocked"

it alleges that Phil Harris tossed coins into the audience, striking her on the head causing her to become "sick, sore, lame, disabled, disordered and suffered frequent headaches."

Her suit also names Jack Benny, Columbia Broadcasting System, Los Angeles Station KNX and the American Tobacco Company.

Some newspaper accounts report it was a December 9th broadcast.
