Rodger Young Village was a public housing project, set up to provide temporary housing for veterans returning to the Southern California  area  following the end of  World War II.  This was most likely a local-area broadcast.  The Village was mentioned on the 3/31/1946 episode of the Jack Benny Show, with Dennis Day singing "The Ballad of Rodger Young".
